TJG Electrical are OZEV Approved Installers for the Government funded Electric Vehicle Home Charge Grant. We can supply and install a wide range of EV Chargers with or without the OZEV grant in the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and surrounding areas.

We can apply for a grant of up to £350 for you to install an Electric Vehicle Charging Point in your home under the Homecharge Scheme or up to £14,000 for you to install EV Charging Points at your Workplace under the Workplace Charging Scheme. This is limited to £350 per charging socket up to a max of 40 Sockets. We will carry out a free survey of your property to establish the best options for you.

The OZEV Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme

If you own an electric Vehicle or have one on order, you could be eligible for the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) which is a grant provided by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), aimed at offering an additional incentive to UK EV drivers.

To qualify for the OZEV grant:

  • You must have off-street parking
  • Your car must be eligible for the grant
  • Your chosen charger must be OZEV approved
  • Your installation must be carried out by an OZEV approved installer.
  • The date of your charger installation should not be more than 4 months before the date of delivery of the car.
